Schedule and Hours of Operation:
CCC follows a traditional school-year schedule - we are not in operation during the summer. With the exception our mid-August-start and mid-May-end dates, we follow the schedule of KNOX COUNTY SCHOOLS, i.e. we are closed on all of the same Holiday, In-Service and Snow Days.
Daily hours of operation are 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Fridays. Office hours are 8:30 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Thursday and 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Fridays.
Enrollment Facts and Fee Information:
("Age" is as calculated on September 30th of the enrollment year.)
(M/W = Monday/Wednesday, T/R = Tuesday/Thursday, T/R/F = Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, etc. )
Ages 11 - 26 months: Children may be enrolled for 1 or 2 days per week, with typical placements for a 2-day option being either M/W or T/R. Schedule is 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Monthly Fee: $90/1 day a week enrollment $180/2 day a week enrollment
Ages 27-36 months: Children are enrolled 2 days per week with typical placements for a 2-day option being M/W or T/R. Schedule is 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Monthly Base Fee: $180
Age 3: Children are enrolled 2 days per week with typical placements for a 2-day option being M/W or T/R. Standard Schedule is 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. (Optional: "Aftercare")
Monthly Base Fee: $107
Age 4: 2-day and 3-day enrollment options are available, including: M/W/F, T/R/F, and T/R.
Standard Schedule is 9 am - 2 pm. (Optional: "Aftercare")
Monthly Base Fees: $107/2 days a week; $140/3 days a week
Age 5: Children are enrolled Monday - Friday. Standard Schedule is 9:00 am - 12:00
(Optional: "Aftercare")
Monthly Fee: $208
**"Aftercare" is offered, as space allows, Monday thru Thursday from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
Fee is $32/month for each weekly set of days enrolled in care, e.g. all Mondays adds $32/month; all Mondays and Wednesdays adds $64/month to base monthly fee.
REGISTRATION
Our Registration takes place each spring during the first full week of March. A fee of $100 is charged; this fee is refunded if child is not placed in a class for the upcoming fall's school-year, but is non-refundable if child is enrolled in a planned class. Enrollment is based on a documented priority system, as follows:
First Priority: Church member children presently attending Cokesbury Children's Center
Second Priority: Families with 2 or more children presently attending Cokesbury Children's Center, and re-enrolling 2 or more children for 2009-2010.
Third Priority: Families with 1 child presently attending Cokesbury Children's Center.
Fourth Priority: Church member, children not presently in the Cokesbury Children's Center.
Fifth Priority: Siblings of children who are presently attending Cokesbury Children's Center.
Sixth Priority: Families not in the above categories. General Public.
Class placement is at the discretion of CCC leadership, with consideration given to age groupings, special needs, and other compatibility and "best-fit" factors.
Classes are filled according to the established priority system and waiting lists are then established.
Check with the CCC regarding openings that may occur after the school year begins. Waiting lists are maintained.
