To Exclaim means to cry out or speak in strong or sudden emotion. To Exclaim about the great faithfulness of God is part of why we exist. We were created to glorify God. This fall we are inviting the people of Cokesbury to join together for EXCLAMATION. It is a church family event (or retreat if that word speaks to you more) at Lake Junaluska, NC, October 14-17. The event will be filled with great speaking and music. We will also have some great fun mixed in too. Our speaker is Jeremy Kingsley. Jeremy spoke at our Ground Zero Camp in 2009 and was awesome. He has written a couple of books; one of which, Be Last was an Amazon bestseller. Leading our music will be Wes Pickering. Wes is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter. You will be blessed and challenged by both of these men. Also, we will have a visit from illusionist William Stogner. Mix in some fun games and inspiring media and you have yourself a worshipful event that is sure to challenge and inspire. Our worship sessions will be great for the entire church, so there will not be age specific breakouts.
How does it work? Fall Break weekend, we want people to have some rest and relaxation, so we have planned worship sessions for morning and evening. This will leave the afternoons for you to enjoy the beauty of the mountains on your own. Play golf, go antiquing, read, hike or just nap… it is totally up to you.

Exclamation is a great opportunity for your family to meet others and to worship together. The mountains will be beautiful at this time of year so come soak up the beauty of God and His creation.
