CUMC hosts "VIP Parties" for outreach families twice a year - in the summer and at Christmas. These One-to-One events are for people who are plugged into Hope Initiative and other outreach families to whom we want to introduce CUMC and Hope Initiative. The goal is to provide one-to-one attention to each guest and to ultimately lead them to the One who is our Lord and Savior. We provide a meal and fun activities during each 2-hour event. At Christmas we add a store in which the families can shop for gifts at greatly-reduced prices: instead of a hand-out, parents are able to experience the sense of providing for their families.
