God continually provides a means for each of us to enter into a relationship with Him. He offers physical, emotional and spiritual restoration. If you find yourself in need of assistance, do not hesitate to contact us. Cokesbury's Outreach Ministries are here to help.
Food Pantry (Manna House)
Manna House is open to anyone in our community who faces a food emergency. We offer clients the opportunity to “shop” from our healthy options once a month in the pantry located on the West side of the North Campus. Manna House serves an average of 667 clients a month. Manna House is open Tuesdays, 10:00 a.m. - noon; Wednesdays, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m; Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. - noon and 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Mentoring & Tutoring (Hope Initiative)
Hope Initiative exists to offer the hope of Christ to families in challenging socioeconomic situations, through healthy one-to-one relationships. We believe God has a plan for the lives of the families we serve. We also think that a family taking personal responsibility is critical to their success. First-time Hope Initiative participants come to a 10- week, Tuesday night program where we have dinner and age-appropriate classes and activities. Participants are offered mentors, life-skills classes, GED help, and tutoring. All activities are on the North Campus.
Financial Assistance (The Hope Trust)
When there is a need for financial assistance, families attending Hope Initiative are offered the opportunity to meet with a Hope Trust Coach who can help with budgeting and resourcing. It is funded by donations made to the Bob Lewis Fund which are collected during communion the first Sunday of each month.
